The Marxist doctrine "from each according to ability, to each according to need" is a desire to see some people granted unearned wealth, status, & power at the expense of those who have earned & actually deserve those things. When a government steals from successful businesses to bail out failing businesses, that is an authoritarian distribution of resources based on the above doctrine.
