hmm, is not there an algorithm to track the messages content for better targeting of ads elsewhere e.g. in messanger and FB?

Probably part of a defensive strategy to keep users from going to properties that don’t belong to Meta and keep the messenger business unprofitable for others. If all those users went to some other company’s product then that company might figure out how to make money and come at Facebook. Or just tarnish the brand.

they sell your metadata info to 3rd parties and use it for themselves as well. e2ee isn’t default so a bunch of users texts are not private, including those received from people who opt in to e2ee.

Users can be spied on via WhatsSpy public

All thoose infomations go to Facebook and Instagramn. And they show you idividual / personal Ads.

Messages are e2ee. There's no way to turn it off that I can see. The backups are held by Apple or Google. Maybe they're just using the meta data associated with your device and the things you search for on other apps.
