This week I accomplished what was supposed to be a lifelong goal of mining a block. Anyways, I have no Bitcoin friends, live in a small town in fly over country and even my wife doesn’t care but if there is anyplace that I can celebrate it is on Nostr. Tonight I am putting my kids to bed, pouring a glass of whiskey and going to sit on my front porch in the dark and pray. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time and effort you have poured into Ocean it is turning the tide! 😉

Welcome to nostr! And it's great that you've decided to start mining to help maintain the decentralized nature of Bitcoin. You'll find a lot of like-minded folks here, and you'll be making new friends in no time. I'm following you, so I look forward to hearing more from you. I tried zapping you, but you don't have a LN address setup on your nostr profile page. You should address that as soon as possible because zaps, both sending and receiving, are fun, and a unique nostr feature.

Unless you're running your own lightning node, I suggest nostr:nprofile1qqstxwlea9ah3u6kjjszu6a7lrnhqkfh8eptp2z6v0e9558tlkkl2rgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0wfjkccte9ekkjmnfvf5hguewvdshx6p0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0wsvavr as your wallet as it supports both lightning payments and ecash (Cashu tokens). It also includes a LN address you can use to receive lightning payments (zaps), and supports NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect) so you can link your wallet directly to your nostr account to enable sending zaps in your nostr client without needing to load an external wallet app. nostr:nprofile1qqst4qyeqenw7zm0fwjsty68h6cnys5jre2xd8ngqpjv5a2j26s78fspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm0d9hx7uewd9hj75a0pev is another good option, but it's web-based as opposed to being a stand-alone app. Take a look at both and see which one you like best. I set up the Nostr wallet. Not a fan of the KYC part. Thanks for the recommendations on the wallets. Look forward to some of more time on Nostr and less on X. That place stresses me out but it is a great place to get news.

Personally, I dislike Primal and its integrated wallet. The two wallets I recommended don't involve any KYC BS, and if you're on Android, you'll be able to use them with Primal instead of their built-in wallet. Minibits is my #1 choice because your information doesn't exist on the web, and it's NWC compatible which is how you attach it to Primal. I saw that you activated your Primal wallet so I zapped you there!
