I moved to Portland at the end of 2005 & it was fantastic. Started changing rapidly after the gfc around 2010 but just went down the toilet once Trump won. The PNW is amazing and the nature around Portland still makes living here worthwhile but I wouldn't miss this city if I left, the politics here are fucking unbearable.
