The universe is infinite, we can always produce more of something, the question is, at what cost? Resources are only finite in a practical sense because our lives or the time available for us to access or to produce certain things is finite.

Socialists & communists on the other hand want society to function by stealing what has already been produced. It involves a total denial of any resource constraints at all.
