The power of finity is infinite. Gold is pretty scarce, but we’ve still only been able to scratch the surface of the Earth’s resources.

Bitcoin’s true finite nature is what makes it radically different from gold. Not to mention the convenience Bitcoin provides: gold is hard to protect, travel with, and divide.

The chart for TikTok usage versus Instagram usage would have looked similar in the first years of TikTok. I dunno, I'm also biased, I'd like to see bitcoin become an everyday currency and I think that the more this gold-killer narrative takes hold the more insane people will feel to spend their bitcoin at all.

I get the cake-and-eat-it-too pitch ("Everyday currency plus store of value at in one!") but it's an easy pitch to ignore and and an even easier one to be skeptical of.
