You don’t know what a like/reactions is on social media?
There is a standard like, and then there is an emoticon.
Do you actually think there's no difference between the two?
I don’t know what you’re referring to. Can you explain? I’m talking about the “like” button on posts on nostr social media clients.
I don't see a like button, I see an option menu of emojis.
The social ad model is inevitable, zaps might help to frame it - but it's unavoidable.
That sounds a lot like a like button just with more options 🤣🤷♂️ Anyway, I sure hope that the ad model is not inevitable. I won’t be surprised to see it in some clients, but I hope it’s not unavoidable. Pretty depressing if that’s true.
I don't believe my brain receives a like the same way it does emojis, or even a myriad of emojis from one person.
I think there's an important factor for our brains in there that allows for more nuance in response from your followers/community.
