The purpose of voting is to *not* change the system but to keep it stable. This is not even a secret. We learn this in school but most don’t draw the conclusions from it.

nobody understands voting.

Bar the Swiss.

True voting is voting for an idea and not for a person.

Few people get this. I would say next to none.

Yes.

You vote to the degree you invest yourself (aka your time and energy) in an idea.

Voting (aka investing 5 minutes and two strokes of ink) isn’t voting at all.
