Why not self-host your own local secured email server using a custom domain name to help ensure privacy. As well as self-host your own matrix server instead too.
You could also just keep using Nostr via DM for end to end encryption communications I believe.
At the end of the day whatever you decide. Your email address is tied to your life. It is unfortunately still required for many things. When you use a 3rd party service provider all you are doing is putting your trust in someone else's computer. Hoping their staff isn't reading through all your emails. Regardless of what privacy song and dance they claim to do.
If you are the type of person who trusts no one but yourself. Then you are either already a wise self-hoster, or you could really benefit from taking the exciting first steps of becoming one.
