I'm a big fan and I had tremendous results with it (mental clarity, weight loss, great mood and energy) but I've learned that for women you have to be more careful:

- not every day

- better skipping the dinner and not the breakfast for hormonal reasons

Otherwise you can experience some problems long term. For me it was insomnia, for others can be more about fertility and weight gain

Do a 12 12 sheme and should have no problems related to hormones.

a 12/12 wasn't effective enough for weight loss for me. it's great for maintenance, though.

This. I've always had trouble eating breakfast so IF was too easy, but paired with resistance training, it made me lose weight waaay too easily and messed up my cycle. Shame as it was amazing for mental clarity.

I found a happy medium was big late breakfast (like, 10-11am) and lunch with no carbs, and a small earlyish dinner with some carbs, enough to make me sleepy, or skipping dinner altogether. Has made the world of difference for managing my ADHD along with the right nutrition and supps.
