No phone from last four years .. I started using one last couple of months just for testing #nostr clients . .. of course without sim 😁

If you have a GPS device for navigation in your car , the usecase for phone is really limited .. everything you can do on a laptop .. and you should anyway not take calls while driving

For calls at home , I use Google voice .. directly from my tablet or desktop .. though these days , everything is on zoom or teams ..

Best part - you save 30 dollars a month that you may use to #stackSats :-)

i found the camera was the hardest thing to replace. tried some $200 digital cameras but they were awful compared to even a cheap phone.

i ended up just getting the habit of never taking the phone out of the house. i still use it 'too much' when inside but the psychological dependency is broken.

amazing how risky it feels to begin with, to be out there on your own with no phone! shows how awful the whole thing is for humanity, these things are our slave chains

Yes .. you are right .. it does feel risky particularly me being fifty plus :-) .. then I thought if something was to happen to me , some kind person would sure call 911 😭.. If everyone around me has a phone , I certainly don't need to carry one ..

On camera , turns out , it was a blessing in disguise .. I was the photographer for everyone :-) eversince I dropped the phone I see more of my pics taken on average :-) .. I do miss capturing sun sets but then it makes me capture the real beauty with the best camera nature evolved over billions of years - eyes ..
