Look what youve done 🤣

i was just reading this. i am in the medical sciences field, and was wondering what did nostr need for these scientists to find it, as compared to bluesky

A left wing echo chamber, probably lol

Jack Kruse needs to be on Nostr.

Dude yes

Absolutely

So questioning is bad? 🤔 Makes complete sense.

Questioning is the starting point of all science. The process involves finding proof, though, so you're supposed to end up dropping the ideas that got disproven. A lot of very thoroughly debunked stuff gets paraded around as "just asking questions".

You can't prove a negative friend.

over 27 million users, and they describe it sleepy... 👀

I can't believe you've done this

more like gaysky

Tells us everything we need to know about their readership😆

Hey, I've got an idea! What if we had a free open source protocol where all your posted scientific work, discussions, and follows could be accessed via any app that supported the protocol? Oh wait, there is one.

Right? And then imagine if we had a way to fund citizen science, or for citizens to directly fund scientific research. Funders/ researchers can talk, incentivizing research to be understood, broadly understandable, and organized.

Nostr's going to have a lot of publications.

I think they mean this in a redditor's sense?

You know it's been captured when you see Nature pumping it

yup, they've been captured like most other "science" publications

lol 🤡🤡🤡

If they or someone shared this on Bluesky, they immediately tainted the survey results.

Is this a good thing? 🤷

hashtag engagement post

Shout out to all my nostr scientists 🤙

Make a post saying that climate change has its cyclical component or another unpopular scientific fact and you will see the reception that they give you XD… but it's a fact: Bluesky being able to create your feed is a very different experience from X

What can stop social media toxicity? Proof of work! Projecting power.
