Last weekend was a 4 day weekend, Friday and Monday off. This coming weekend is a 3 day weekend, Monday off.
Clearly these office bums are not replying to emails or expediting things and are probably in holiday mode.

I thought you were complaining about them not replying on holidays and weekends. But it's possible that they took vacation off. People often do that on short holiday weeks to get a full week off while spending only a few vacation days.
Either way, just call them. If they are in office they should pick up.
