I think it' either that there will be jobs but for less people leading to even wider wealth gaps than today or this time is not different and we just don't know what the future jobs will be that people who are replaced by automation ("AI") will do in the future so we think they do nothing. Bitcoin will obviously go up forever if we don't fuck things up.
I personally think the whole idea of work being optional or you won't have to work and just live off UBI is a pipe dream. Just doesn't seem realistic to go from "no such thing as a free lunch" to "optional free lunch for all" 😂
I don't think you conceive of just how deflationary AI is. Especially with bitcoin in the mix.

It's also incredibly capital intensive to deploy and maintain. Land, construction, property taxes, energy cost, network costs, not to mention servers and GPUs (or whatever is next for Ai, ASiCs?) that will need to be upgraded frequently to remain competitive...
The engineering of all this, hardware and software.
The government doesn't generate revenue, except through taxes. They would have to seize the means of production, hyperinflate the currency, insane tariffs/taxes, or my best guess, some combination thereof.

This can happen if they get a higher degree of control as a counterweight. But I doubt it as these elites see us as cattle that must be controlled and benefit them with our time and energy. They cant have masses of adult men with time on their hands to question the shackles they carry. The elites need them enslaved thru debt, docile, fat, sick and stupid. Add in being afraid and the circle is complete.
