I'm actually looking forward to winter this year...building projects in the shop with my family and getting paid for the heated space. I'm excited about the shop space being usable space instead of just storage

Working in a traditional sense maybe...as long as we're all producing something towards sociaty
Finally getting my shop hooked up on some hash heat! Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! I'm designing this system to run year round and have the heat dumped outside in the warmer months. Eventually the heat dump will be monitored to throttle the miners during high demand for electricity times.

Sadly this is probably real....he accepts Bitcoin

As publicly owned and municipal utilities navigate the complex transition from traditional coal generation to a more diverse energy future, embracing innovative strategies is key to reliability and economic growth. By integrating high-demand industries like data centers and bitcoin mining with local power grids, utilities can secure new, steady sources of load—helping older coal plants operate efficiently and spread their fixed costs over more kilowatt-hours, even as renewable adoption gradually rises.
This approach not only supports affordable, reliable energy for the community but also extends the useful life of existing infrastructure, giving utilities the stability and flexibility they need while preparing for a clean energy future. By harnessing these partnerships, nostr:nprofile1qqsgx2d6xvkksgharyhrpcrc0nfgnk9c72kgdnkaa0evfsemajce9sspzdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ukzcnvv5hx7un8qyv8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnsv9cxzmn0v3jjucm0d50645nu can preserve energy advantages, ensure grid resilience, and manage the transition at a pace that benefits everyone. This makes the local grid a hub for innovation and longevity in the evolving energy landscape.

Decentralized Subsidy System built on proof of work
Subsidize Bitcoin Mining for the utilities as a demand regulator, build, micro grids with small nuclear reactors and let Bitcoin pay for the infrastructure of the future grid. now the higher, the bitcoin price the lower, your energy cost, which is your source of heat because you're mining Bitcoin has a heat source.
Interesting, sounds like proof of work if you're creating something that people want and need
Muriel showed back up right after I mentioned that she was missing...she's been missing for almost 2 weeks but she's broody so I think she's just been hiding. My wife is so happy
What's a meatspace business?
The light of Bitcoin shines like a beacon in the darkness—piercing through lies, borders, and broken systems. One truth, one ledger, one mission: to unify humanity through transparency, sovereignty, and hope. 🌍⚡₿
He looks just like my wife's favorite chicken that just recently went missing....I'm guessing a fox or skunk got her but she was so friendly
Anyone out there running the Avalon 1566I? Seems like a great upgrade from the S19. nostr:nprofile1qqsytyzt9rl7pewtjye0ngywjahd0u8u2lvrsaupa2wgpujkcsfvrdqpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet55jppae what are your thoughts?

The Avalon will put out double the hash but their firmware is not open source and not compatible with our tech stack we've been using for the S19's.... I am sure they are great machines but they do require a bit more technical knowledge to get setup properly
Do you think it possible the bots a draining the liquidity and causing the price to stay low?
What if the first version of AI was invented 15 years, Satoshi asked it how to solve all the worlds problems and it created Bitcoin..
