I did have a bad childhood and I have taken ownership over it. Everyone with a bad childhood has to do this eventually if they want to move on.

Agreed. All I’m saying is that ownership as an adult is different than “fault” of a child in certain contexts. Ex. You wouldn’t say it’s a toddler’s fault for allowing themselves to be sex trafficked.
