Have you read Hilaire Belloc's "Essay on the Restoration of Property"? It discusses this exact idea

no but if the book is longer than a few chapters it might need to be edited down. glad someone has written about it though

It's something like 100 pages. Not a long read by any means. It took me 2 or 3 days I think
