Well, being a lightning dev I imagine Will is more than capable of verifying the code for himself. The rest of us... not so much.

What I liked about the recent Bitkey open source drop is it was everything from the source code to the hardware to the electrical diagram.
Way over my head with a lot of it but good to see a precedent being established.
They went through all the trouble to stay anonymous. Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, namecheap domain and webspace on digitalocean.

This is not looking good and makes me evermore suspicious. Will's trust in somebody he once worked with means nothing to me when it comes to securing my bitcoin. That's all we got now, a mysterious dev, an unknown device manufacturer, a website that wants to bug my phone and Will saying it's OK.

I know and trust the guy who created this device and I believe he also gave a demo of it at nostr:npub1h493d0qgwhu95s82zd9sxrt3ckn3ttgvaf04z02neckadxw5fkvqte4cwz . Im sure he’ll be doing more public talks about it and then you should decide if it’s something you want to play with.
