As the society gets more weird on sex, gay sex, porn normalized, now starting to see some child molestation normalized, etc, I think the right way to report to this is not to fight it but treat it like a bad habit
You don’t shoot someone for smoking but you definitely would be happy if he stoppped
Smoking only hurts the individual and maybe those directly around them, but I understand your point.
Demonizing people doesn't fix anything. The root cause of engaging in sexual abuse is having experienced sexual abuse.
Reducing new trauma from being created while looking into resolving past trauma would be the best path forward.
That may involve keeping pedophiles in jail.
