Last month, the Trump admin added fuel to the fire, issuing letters to Columbia & Harvard demanding campus mask bans. Columbia capitulated, continuing their disastrous strategy of attacking Palestine solidarity movements at the expense of everyone’s health & privacy
Mask bans are a tactic of #surveillance and control. Not only do they infringe upon people’s rights to health, safety, #privacy, and #accessibility, they cause disproportionate harm to racially marginalized + #disabled people.
