My daughter just asked me while I was so smiling this morning.

Time to tell her and her little brother the story of Ross and his brave mom Lyn.

(Update: She listened and asked many questions then she told me I should stop say it over and over again... I told her I'm in disbelief and still realizing 😅)

How’d you convey it to them? I’d love to hear your ELI5 version.

It's easy, actually.

A guy create a website and sometimes people used the website to do things that can considered not good.

Police came for him while he was only the creator of the website (6 yo understood the difference immediately) and put him in jail.

His mom worked relentlessly to make him free.

Today he is a free man, they can hug each other and justice has been made.

She asked why today, I told her about the new president and she asked why the others didn't help, and many details about prisons.

Wonderful story for a mom to tell with a mom heroine in it.

yeah, kids can get it. mine were shocked about the concept of taxes.

they don't understand why they are implemented.

Do you explain the official and widely accepted reasons?

Each type of tax has a story behind it and this is what keeps the uncurious and the only slightly curious satisfied. It also gives them ammo to turn others if they aren't prepared with the knowledge beforehand.

Maybe later on, but it's important to know the backstories as a defense mechanism to not get blindsighted.

Well done, and beautiful explained, our kids need to know from a young age.

Amazing! How old are your kids?

6 and 2

Cute, gonna tell my kids aswell then. They don't know a lot about this bitcoin/freedom thing yet

This is a nice story to start :)

That's the halving period difference 🤔
