Confession…when moving over to a ColdCard, I had some shitcoins (Ethereum) on an old ledger from a few years ago. I kept it there for a while, thinking, well, what if I’m wrong? Might be worth just keeping it.

Then I realized that I fundamentally disagree with the premise that I should have to trust anyone, for anything. If I wouldn’t recommend buying shitcoins, and can’t succinctly explain the utility, I should practice what I preach. #Bitcoin is trustless, and is where I spent all my time. It’s better money. It’s freedom. The community is better. The thesis, in my humble opinion, is correct.

So, TLDR, went from 97% to 100%. I thought I was all in before, but now it’s official 🟠 ⚡️

All good!

I had some Eth and some shitcoins (Polygon, chainlink) in a metamask wallet I forgot about for a while.

I went through a similar thought process as you then reasoned through how stupid polygon is (faster, centralized, eth clone) and chainlink (yeah let’s fix the oracle problem with a centralized source of truth) and sold those quick.

If you ever had XRP you can’t ever get rid of it all because they force you to keep a balance of 20 in your wallet as a reminder of the shitcoin mistakes you’ve made. You just have to delete it and burn your keys.

Maybe I did have some of that but never in “self custody”.

I instead still get emails from coinbase as well as still have my coinbase sats back debit card as a reminder. 😂

A lot of us have been there. I was deep into some Ethereum based shitcoinery until two things happened:

1. I started to see it for what it really was, a CBDC platform we were basically beta testing for the WEF, whose creator literally eats bugs (no I mean it, Vitalik eats bugs)

2. I left Twitter for Nostr and shed my shitcoin ways for good
