I stayed in Mission Bay just to stay away from all that. And also, that’s where UCSF and the ballpark are. No need to go back to FiDi or SoMa.

It’s fine over there. My office was in that area. SoMa sucks. SoMa was awesome back in 2005 though. I used to bar hop from SoMa for Mission all night back then and it wasn’t sketchy at all.

It was so safe that I even would stay out all night to catch the BART home sometimes. I remember one time I slept on the stairs in front of the gate at Powell station waiting for the station to open. 😂
