Yes it's called Genoese Farinata with onions, my wife prepared it last night
I need to learn how to make this!
To do it well you need an oven that reaches 300° C
And the baking tray must also be treated with oil before cooking
Farinata is a very simple food, but cooking requires attention
Can I do this in a cast iron skillet? Not sure I’m willing to test my oven on what’s basically the self-cleaning setting. 😅
A tinned copper pan would be ideal, but I doubt you can find that.
I use a rust-proof iron pizza pan because it is thin and transmits heat well. I don't know if it works in cast iron or non-stick pans.
