It’s kinda ironic. Some Bitcoiners rightfully harp on wrong and biased studies by anti-bitcoiners but then readily accept stuff that sounds right without serious scrutiny.

I’ve seen too many cases where headlines made rounds on studies that were not even statistically significant without anyone questioning them to believe anything I read without lookin at it myself.

Seems like the general concept is some seed oils are essentially industrial food-like substances and are widely present in highly processed foods. Peter Van Valkenburgh has written on it a fair amount and—from within the rabbit hole—posted charts and research on twitter

Actually, we don’t ever trust, we verify. And seed oils are bad. Do your own research. Trust no one.
