They may very well be operating at a loss in order to pull people in.

The centralisation is a problem though.

What kind of settings does it offer for self-custody? Any control over nodes, peers, channels, etc?

Seems to be only one channel. Node and peer IDs are read-only. There is a 12-word recovery phrase although I’m not sure what the warning means.

I think this means it only keeps track of your open channels, and their liquidity levels. I'm guessing the wallet has an on-chain component which should have another 12/24-word recovery phrase.

Ah yeah that makes sense. There’s another set of 12 words for the entire wallet (which includes on-chain and Liquid).

If they also do on chain or another chain means that wallet wont be recovered. Only your lightning wallet.
