I have never read the book, but I enjoyed the show. I spoke with others who loved the book, and said the show changed characters and made choices that seemed “purely for woke signaling” and such. Some people blow that stuff WAY out of proportion though so I have no way to compare, but just a warning in case that sort of things annoys you. I know how infuriating even small things like that can be for a story you are already in love with 😆

That said, you should get Apple TV+ anyway. They have seriously high quality production and I’ve loved practically every show I’ve watched up there. Even the obviously political leaning shows don’t really sacrifice the story arc for it. Worth giving it a shot either way, imo.
