After a month of the standing desk/walking pad (aka treadmill) setup, I can say it’s a game changer.

I get a ton more movement in daily. I also just feel better. It’s a nice add in. Even if it’s a super busy day, I feel like I’m doing something.

It was kind of an adjustment after using the commercial treadmills at the gym, which I would use on a 9 incline at a speed of 3.0.

But low-speed walking has its benefits. Lower average weight for 5 weeks straight and a lower resting heart rate. I’ve even seen good increases in HRV.

Made other changes too, like more Pilates, a punching bag, and a single kettlebell for workouts.

Nice! Walking pad? Treadmill without arms or something? Pic?

I have a standing desk at work with a chair, a balance stool and of course standing. Would be interesting to have a walking something although I question my ability to run a mouse while doing so.

Yup! Treadmill without arms. (Since it goes under the desk). Not designed for high speeds.

Got it on Amazon.

Can recommend. Just don’t lose its remote control. (Which I did one day).
