In 1971, a single income could raise a family of 4.

On average today, it takes 2 incomes and debt just to survive.

This has terrible downstream effects where both parents are forced to outsource the parenting, in order to keep their heads above the water.

Something broke.

Fix the money, and maybe… we fix the family.

I feel like the starting salary for a “good job” out of college has been $60k for the last 10 years. 10 years ago this might be enough to live on your own and support a spouse, today there is almost no way you are doing that unless you have a roommate or both spouses are working.

The cost of living has gone up but the incomes haven’t.
