What is the reason there is so little conflict and negativity here on nostr?

Maybe because this place is a beacon of freedom, populated by freedom lovers? And having love of freedom in common makes other differences a bit unimportant?

At the same time, freedom is increasingly being painted as extremely dangerous by media and governments.

Maybe freedom is actually conflict limiting? Uniting us, rather than dividing us…

I think we shouldn’t underestimate the power of Algos designed to amplify posts that draw emotions (good and bad) out of users.

I do agree the general Nostr user is bitcoin and thus freedom oriented, making it less negative. However, I also think the unique way Relays work allow for even more organic engagement than other social media platforms
