Closest I got to eating raw eggs was adding egg powder to my protein shakes.

Natto? I'm a bit of a fan.
I'd probably ditch the raw egg whites and focus on the yolks. The albumen is basically just protein & water. The avidin in them can supposedly prevent the absorbtion of biotin.
I've eaten them but since stopped.
Westerners struggle with slimy as a food texture. Japanese love it. Took awhile for me to understand it but now I can't live without it.
