#permies #permaculture #garden #ryegrass #grownostr rye grass inter planted as cover crop is working well for the higher plants - brussel sprouts, Swiss chard. Excited to see the soil for the spring. I’m also using scissors to cut down some and use as mulch - mini chop and drop.

I planted some einkorn wheat as cover crop over winter, neat to see your other greens are thriving amongst the grass, I will have to try.

Does the grass not take them over when they are young? Do you transplant them so they are more established?

I seeded the main crops, once established then seeded rye. Maybe a month or so after.
