An antimatter bomb is a "perfect" bomb, releasing 100% of the energy of its mass (e=mc^2) vs 0.4% to 1% compared to nuclear weapons.

With 1kg of antimatter you could wipe out all life on earth.

If you wanted to completely destroy earth (like break it aparty and send it flying into space in chunks of rock) you would need about 1/5 mt everersts worth of antimatter.

Plz don't

we need another hitler as excuse

Fuck the Jews. Victors write history books.

Fun fact: a PET scan technically uses antimatter to image your brain

Also, in solid form it is excrement of Niblonians and can fuel space ships in this form.

Is it available on the local supermarket to buy? 🫰 🧨

Would this 1/5 Mt Everest need to be in a well at a certain depth, or would it sitting on the surface do the job?

i think the earth is gone either way

Nah. 1kg × c² = 9×10¹⁶ Joules.

The largest nuclear weapon ever tested was the Tsar Bomba, at 50megatons of TNT equivalent. That works out to 2.1×10¹⁷ Joules, a bit over twice as much energy (it weighed 27,000kg, so only a small fraction of its mass was turned into energy).

The Tsar Bomba only managed to produce a fire all 8km in diameter. That's _so_ many orders of magnitude away from wiping out all life.

I think you need 5kg to strip the ozone which is what I was thinking of, not sure why I wrote 1kg here. I was doing a bunch of calcs last night.

wait I was an order of magnitude off, its more like 55,000kg. oops lol

its probably way more than that. not sure how drunk I was last night to get that number

5kg vs 54,000kg is almost half an order of magnitude of order of magnitudes off. 😂

🫠🤔

So you’re saying to stack & HODL antimatter?

On it. 🫡
