What are one or two things about the upcoming generations (any generations under 18 years) that make you hopeful and excited for the future?

Not “they’ll grow up fluent in such and such technology” or anything like that; actual attributes you see in young people that give you hope.

Some of the young kids I've met, middle school and younger, are really knowledgeable about their "thing" whether it's Minecraft or mathematics.

I kid you not, one kid said he loved math and was telling me about the weird numbers, like pi and stuff. it was weird and wonderful.

They have access to so much knowledge about their interests. They can even directly contact the big players in their field just by messaging them. It really great that parents can support and nurture their passions.

I don’t think the younger generations will go along with warfare in nearly the same numbers as they have in the past. Sure there are pockets in the world that will, but most aren’t falling for the narrative and wouldn’t be drafted if it came to that. Creating viable militaries is only getting harder I’d bet.
