I haven't made biscuits in years, as the kids prefer scones, but I decided to treat myself.
Makes me all homesick. Served with roast chicken and gravy and buttered peas. I was going to make mashed potatoes, but I had a depressed day and decided to resist the Scone Mafia and go full biscuit.
Always go full biscuit.
I need to work on a more-even rise. Dough was probably slightly too sticky, so that I couldn't cut smoothly.
Need more practice. 😁
