First time I saw a pair of earth runners in person I laughed my ass off. The copper pin has no electrical connection to your foot, everything that touches your foot is an electrical insulator the same as every other shoe. I even got out my my multimeter for a good old fashion continuity beep idiot test, total BS gimmick. No part of the foot bed or straps would beep for continuity to the copper pin.
There is a sucker born every minute.
My shammas sandals stay on my feet better too.
