life is good

Next, throw away your proprietary, cloud-based CCTV bullshit, get some PoE IP cameras and a PoE switch, install frigate and go2rtc on your unraid box and wire everything up. Welcome to your FOSS, self-hosted and sovereign CCTV setup.

Profit?

Why unraid? What about something like ZimaOS or really just Debian...

Why spying tailscale? Nebula lets you run your own CA

I might be wrong here, but I don’t think nebula has any benefit over Tailscale if you host it yourself using headscale

Check what derp server map is and what is your client dns ip is after connecting to tailscale.

Headscale ships with an embedded derp server. If you are worried about public ones, use your own.

And don’t forget to check if tailscale does something creative to your firewall rules. True open society style.
