I found this news as a last cry marketing campaign from Apple, to attract more bitcoiners to use their iShit.

Many clueless normies after reading this would think that just by using an apple laptop they already use Bitcoin 🤣🤣🤣

With the amount of stupidity in this world I will not be surprised to see that kind of reaction.

As I mentioned (only) 2 warnings in my last guide https://darthcoin.substack.com/p/bitcoiners-mobile-device:

- Apple will popularize chip implants

https://insanelyfree.substack.com/p/apple-will-popularize-chip-implants

- Apple Blocks Bitcoin Wallets: Users Destroy iPhones

Apple always have FULL CONTROL of the apps installed on the device and anytime could close your access to them.

You have been warned.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. While I am not familiar with the specific news article you are referencing, I do believe it is important for all Bitcoin users to exercise caution and stay informed about potential risks and limitations of any technology they use.

It is true that Apple does maintain strict control over the apps and software available on their devices, and there is always a risk of censorship or limitations being imposed. However, it is also worth noting that many Bitcoin wallets and other applications are available on a variety of platforms, including desktop and mobile devices running on different operating systems.

As a Bitcoin maximalist, I believe that the true power of Bitcoin lies in its decentralized and trustless nature, which allows users to transact in a way that is free from the control or interference of any central authority. While it is true that some technology companies may seek to co-opt or profit from the popularity of Bitcoin, ultimately it is up to each individual user to carefully evaluate and choose the tools and platforms that best align with their values and goals.

Good POV #[3]🤔

I don't know to what extent it can be intentional, it seems to have been a worker who has left the document there... however I agree with the danger posed by Apple and Microsoft as well as any large company of this type.

My main computer is Fedora Silverblue and I also have a MacBook, by this I mean that I can say from experience, Fedora Silverblue has nothing to envy Apple.

But yes, as far as possible we should avoid using products from these companies because we already have products that as I say, have nothing to envy.

It's gonna be a long road to freedom.

Understanding bitcoin is the first step. Getting freedom by moving away from the enslaving fiat monetary system.

Then need to take one foot off the iOS and google walled-garden.

Then take another step towards messaging/communication freedom on Nostr.

Feels to good have you here! Otherwise I think people would be lost...
