What an important topic. So far every social network has been ruined by coalescing around a particular flavor of draconian "content moderation". Even the fediverse has descended into this problem.
I am hopeful that #nostr will be able to do filtering the right way because the protocol is right from the base. It can be done the "wrong way" too as long as there remains a free speech centric choice.
