The average price of a new Ford today in 2023 is $51,163 (157X).

It's worth pointing out that having taxes this low still generated enough revenue to warrant the employment of local tax collectors. Small governments ftw.

The wild thing to think about is how much a new ford would be today if the money supply had not expanded
