Both Zaps and Likes can and will be gamed.
Replies are high value, zaps are a gift, likes are connection.

Definitely. Imagine a new ad system that was based on zaps and likes where the marketers owned all the accounts. They would just zap and like accounts they own back and forth to create the illusion of interest on a whatever they wanted to promote.
