'No tax on tips" - The bottom half pay nothing already.... Which is where 85% of tip credits workers are.

"No tax on social security" - Oh yes, let's help the boomers even more. They haven't had it good enough.

"Increase SALT deductions" - Screw that. Stop subsiding helping local governments that have high taxes

"Tax billionaire sports owners" - What, all 30 of them? Who gives shit. They will just divest into partnerships, corps, trusts, r and d, payroll credits, etc...

What a disasterous and BS list.

Come on people, let's not encourage the federal government picking and choosing winners and losers in society to win political votes.

I wish for a flat consumption tax for individuals and families (not companies). No income tax.

Im all for his plan to have no income tax and only fees and tarrifs like the 1800s. However, government was about .05% of the size it is now. Do it can't work.

Flat tax is fine by me. I'm not much of a consumer in general.

Quality restaurants are dying. Between covid and inflation, they have had a rough time.

It doesn't help the restaurants at all. Since low income don't pay taxes, it doesn't really change a thing.

Plus, quality higher end restaurants servers and backs and bartenders and hosts and valets can make 60-100k

Any tax decrease that I can get helps me. Why wouldn’t it be the same for someone earning tips?

It would help only the ones making lots of money. I don't wish to have the government pick and choose winners in society. That's sick.

95% of people earning under 30k have zero federal tax liability. 50k and less only pay an effective rate of about 1.8%. Really, they can't pay 700 bucks in taxes? That's assuming no kids either. With kids would get a rebate, not pay.

If I have to pay taxes, my businesses have to pay taxes, so should they. The progressive system is already disgusting. Let's not widen the gap of payors anymore.

You can only milk the producers so much....

I want zero taxes. Any help is help. No tax on tips is winning the culture war, which helps win for libertarian/ constitutional movements. If you are going to repeal the16 amendment, it will take decades of small wins
