Google Plus was always crap. It died for a reason.
I’ve seen a lot of FOSS people claim it was actually good once you invested time in it. Maybe it just wasn’t marketed well.

Google wasn’t always as hated as they are now.
They abandoned it.
Why shouldn't we dust off parts and use them WITHOUT the big tech element?
