Grill is the answer to everything. I never had better steak than from wooden grill. Well, the bit that left after my 8yo niece who "doesn't like that kind of meat" worked through most of it like a wolf.

The smoke adds so much flavor. I think the best steaks I made were over a camp fire on a grate. Only salt was added but the complex flavor of the wood smoke, salt, and beef fat made it melt in your mouth.
