You need a server, not necessarily a node

Huh? What kind of server? A node is a server.

A web server i meant. I’m assuming you’re asking about having a LN address with custom domain?

Ohhh. Not really. Just a LN address. Maybe Muun is the outlier with an expiration date. I’ll just spin up a node finally for nostr.

I think you’re confusing what an invoice vs ln address is 🙂

Invoices expire and ln addresses don’t. Most wallets don’t support Ln address yet. Also it’s easy to tell what a ln address looks like, they look just like email addresses

Yup. Definitely am. Thank you for clarifying the terminology for me!

For a custodial solution try Wallet of Satoshi. Cick on receive —> lightning address. You can use that address for tips on NOSTR if that’s what you’re trying to do

I was hoping for self-custody. My Muun app has an expiration for a LN address.

any playful nostr testing / daily spending…

Wallet of Satoshi is the easiest to use.

Can always move access to Munn / Blue later 🤙🏽
