Why doesn't "mute user" work?

WTF I am all for uncensorable speech but I am also sick of the spam shitcoin maggot airdrop bullshit scammer commenting on my posts.

What client are you using? I'm using Amethyst, and Block/Hide User has been working great. 🤔

It could also have something to do with the relays you're using, but I don't think so...

Primal and I am less worried about seeing it then them using my reach to spread their scam shit.

I wouldn't worry about too much, I blocked that twat months ago and am sure most people have done the same by now.

Try to find the relay that he posts and contact that relay op. Or drop it.

Amethyst (used to?) crowd-source mute data to reduce spam for other amethyst users. No idea how nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z decides whether an npub's mute list is credible to reduce false-positives

mute works for me. I dont see thst shit anymore 🤷‍♂️
