I started with street/landscape stuff mostly on medium format. Many years ago! But then worked as a travel photographer for about twelve years which meant switching to digital for 90% of that work. Now I only recently went back to the Hasselblad & Mamiya 6 shooting just for fun if I ever actually have the time to actually run some film through! Mamiya is kinda like a chunky MF leica brick πŸ˜† The hasselblad I use more for slower/contemplative landscape shots on tripod. For digital I still have a bunch of Fujifilm rangefinder/mirrorless kit, x100 series is kinda my poor man’s Q πŸ˜…

So cool man!! Would love to see some of your work! Yah can totally see how the Mamiya 6 is similar to a Leica, for me the rangefinder focus just slows me down for anything else than a nicely set up portrait πŸ˜† I’m not so great at adjusting focus on the go in street scenes πŸ‘΄πŸ½ I’ve used the x100 a bunch, great camera! Speaking of Fuji, I’ve been using the GFX100 a bunch, can’t recommend it enough! It’s been an amazing alternative to the more expensive other Medium Format digital.
