For future users you have to get an extension that recognizes nostr requests much like wallet requests in opensea and stuff. I used the Getalby extension associated my nostr keys and now primal requests to view my public key and associates my nostr account with the primal client. Would have been nice to have this in their help page. The other web clients have a enter pub key button.
