Dear NOSTR developers.

I want to work on an Adult Noster client designed for mature adult consumers.

I can not code.

I do know what makes a good adult site.

I've been in the adult industry for 17 years in just about every aspect.

I can also do site content, writing, and digital art.

Boost this. Please. Boost this.

Let's get it done before some developers ruin NOSTR for adult providers while denying their own personal opinions on content amount to censorship on a protocol that is supposed to be for freedom.

It's kinda here already isn't it? Just make your own pr0n relay and if you can somehow CDN that and put relays around the world I would clsss your project complete.

By saying other devs will ruin the Nostr... how? Sites have to innovate and continually innovate to succeed in this Value-4-Value ecosystem.

I don't really understand why it's not a relay. But also, why not try this client method ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯. Relays are kinda the trickiest part for new users to understand (I also still don't understand tbf).

No. A relay alone will not help. We need the tools to be legal in all jurisdictions and yes we are rebels and all but we risk sending content makers to jail in some horrible places without those tools.

We need unlockable via zap content tools and other stuff too.

I wish a relay alone would help.

What are the specific legal risks? From an outsider's point of view, a paid relay should be enough.

Authorities enter people's homes for many reasons.

Relays have already been taken as evidence. Search and seizure laws are different in different countries and states.

Certain jurisdictions have draconian penalties for just nudity let alone sexual acrivity. The term Sex Worker is broad and covers many adult professions. Certain kinks are major crimes in certain areas.

The reasons are many.

You can have zap to see content, or subscription only content, or anything else that's relay- or client-based, but I don't see how you could avoid being identified and caught if the content itself is illegal in the jurisdiction where you operate.

I'm not trying to be a black cloud, just trying to break the problem down to manageable solvable specific issues because it's not clear to me that we have a full picture of the needs, or that all of the needs can actually be solved at all.

One thing I do say all the time is that relays should be absolutely dumb, to the point that in my opinion content should be by default ephemeral: if a user wants to store stuff, they should do it using their own hardware.

Try to separate your needs and put some stuff on traditional servers under your control. You don‘t need nostr for lightning payments. Experiment with content that is legal everywhere until you understand the limits of the technology.

Can you show us examples of every tool you need? Like what it would look like on a compliant website? We can figure out what its actually doing at a technical level on our own.

So for this I think you have to like post a blurred version of the image (to be law following but still tempting does that sound right?) And then post the sats amount to unlock the image (dollars aren't real in Bitcoin its just the conversion rate and programming around conversion rates could be messy) and when the threshold is reached (could be tipped rather than zapped by the way) send the image link in DM to the tipper.

But then everyone can see who you DMd (though not what you DMd)
