Migrating is pretty straightforward.. it takes only human time, not downtime.. migration would be pretty lame to ask of Doug's time, given there are so many ways to do this already.

migrations are lame?? They are just good engineering. Even nostrdb has them. I didn’t have enough disk space to export and import.

how is asking for a feature demanding. he doesn’t have to do it. People ask me for features all the time.

right, he doesn't have to so I thought I'd chime in that it seems like not necessary given there's only been one db structure change that required an export in the last 8 months.
